We are an open friendly club and that is reflected in our membership procedure. Email enquiries@yeovilmrg.org for directions to the club rooms, or call our club secretary Simon Wright on 07860 107489. Please leave your name and number if no answer and he will try and call you at a convenient time.
Once you have directions to the club buildings, you can come along to see where we are, who we are and what we do. There is no pressure to join immediately because we believe that there is no point in anyone belonging to a club they don’t feel comfortable with. That said, we would be surprised if you did not feel at home immediately and fit in with what we are currently doing. Whatever your interest we are sure you will find a place to help and if you just want to watch and chat then that’s fine with us.
Membership types are:
- Full Membership (Annual fee can be paid by monthly standing order)
- Associate Membership (Annual fee plus a fee per visit)
- Junior Associate Membership (fee per visit)
The club “day” is Wednesday and the clubrooms (affectionately known as CS2) usually open at around 15:00 and close about 22:00. (21:30 often sees some wander down to the local public house!) Members come and go as they please during the Wednesday sessions. After a while, as a full member, you can obtain a key and can come at any time to work on projects as several currently do. We have a full time facility where layouts are permanently erected so no setting up and breaking down at each session.
