This year the Chairman’s Cup competition was to construct a 7mm ‘O’ gauge empty coal wagon. All members have the opportunity to construct and paint a wagon bought by the club. We are grateful to Parkside Dundas for their assistance in supplying the wagons. See http://www.parksidedundas.co.uk/
The winner of the Chairmans Cup was John Lewis. Well done to John who claims his two entries were the first wagons that he had ever painted. Add to this that John is primarily a 4mm modeller a fantastic effort.
And if that wasn’t good enough John also managed to get runners up spot.
