A crucial advantage of Bob’s approach to producing a slate roof is that missing, damaged and slipped slates can all be modelled. Most slate roofs even quite modern ones display one or more of these defects; Bob strongly disagrees with this statement for buildings that are in use – so as always use a photographic reference for the condition of your model!
